Our Red TME needing a little TLC thread...

As some will know we picked up our TME at long last this Friday just gone after waiting a number of weeks for it to arrive from Japan:D

As with any car imported it's difficult to tell the condition of the car until you see it in the flesh ...

The 200 mile drive home was made all the more entertaining by the good old British weather, after weeks of dry weather it chose this particular day to not only rain but provide the best thunder & lightening show we had seen for some time most of the way home.

The auction Pics -

As you can imagine it looked a little tatty by the time we got home with the paint work looking a little pink

I still haven't managed to give it a wash yet but we did get time to go round the car over the weekend to have a closer inspection....It is going to need a little TLC as you can see but we are hoping that we will be able to return it to its former minty self soon & it will soon resemble a Squeakyclean car :smthumbup;)

I will update this thread with before & after pics as we tick off the TME jobs….the list of jobs is growing by the day ..just a few of them

I'll do that...about time I said hello to him ....yes, it needs plastic welding or something along those lines just not sure the best way to fix it or is it a new spoiler  Sounds like the Carbon repair kit has worked for you though so maybe thats the way forward...

Well changed the brakes pads all round this weekend just gone & decided to change the gear box oil at the same time as the gearbox was playing up...this is what we found...not good then ? :shake: the old oil also had a milky look to it ??
