Evo Drive By Wire Conversion Kits

We offer a few kits to install the Evo 10 electronic pedal for these applications.

The main advantages with moving to a drive by wire setup come when the vehicle has advanced electronics added to it and you want to take more control over some features such as idle and throttle control over different conditions. You can also acheive blip on downshift if you have paddle shift.

Each kit is supplied with the bracket, stainless hardware, a new throttle stop and a new connector, terminals and wire seals. On the right hand drive Evo 7,8,9 kit the mounting setup also covers the old hole in the bulkhead where the cable used to go through.

Evo 7,8,9 Left Hand Drive
Evo 7,8,9 Right Hand Drive
Evo 5,6 Right Hand Drive - coming soon, estimated 1-2 weeks

Use this link to view the section in our shop - https://trackformula.co.uk/product-c...re-conversion/

Example pictures. PLEASE NOTE: The metal cover from the pedal is missing in some of these pictures. The Evo 10 pedal has a cover on it with makes it a nice option to use.

Interesting - so could cruise control be a possibility with an Evo 6 if the ECU was also changed??

You would be best discussing this with whoever calibrates the required ecu. Itís not something Iíve dealt with.

The answer would normally be a yes - but I think it might require either an ECU that has the cruise control built in or else an external module that can be wired in.

Can you not get blip on downshift with gearstick?

Yes, you can with the stick with a suitable load cell. I'm not saying paddles are the only way this is possible. There are applications where a stick is fine and possibly a preference but in my mentioning about drive by wire and what it can do I highlight that it can control blip on downshift with a paddle request since some people are still learning about these processes. There are other controls available which aren't with cable hence why you see so many advanced setups with drive by wire. Some people will greatly benefit from it, some may not.

This is something I am looking to get done in 2020 through the LinkG4 ECU I have fitted.

Definitely possible yes. If you have a plugin ECU you may need some other hardware, depending on how complicated you want your cruise control to be, and how many other inputs you are using on your ECU.
That said, Track Formula's wireless CAN switches might be perfect...
