Pro Alloy high efficiency core Evo 4-9

This product has been developed in conjunction with Ross Sport specifically for the Evo to provide the best possible charge cooling solution.

Particular attention has been paid to the thermal efficiency & flow though the core so as to provide optimum charge cooling whilst not inhibiting the flow to the engine coolant radiator.

Innovative design allows one product to cater for Evo 4-9. This is achieved by the provision of 2 mounting points for the top bracket.

Features:

- Tube and fin construction
- 67% larger than the standard intercooler.
- Core Dimensions: Width 520mm, Height 300mm, Thickness 100mm
- Intercooler covers the whole front of the intake grill.
- Gas flowed alloy end tanks.
- 2.5" Inlet & Outlets
- Suitable for applications up to 700bhp
- Made in the UK
- Optional Pro Alloy or Ross Sport Logo for the face

Recently fitted one of these to an Evo V, C-TEC 2.32L with hybrid GT3076r HTA billet wheel.

Excellent fit, space has been maximised. Perfect for anyone wanting a significant cooler upgrade, without the need to modify the OEM bumper to fit.

Dyno result 540whp calculated 618hp @ 2.2 bar V Power in a hot dyno cell given the recent weather. No inlet temp issues

Cheers Nigel. The Tube and Fin has significant advantages which are hard to prove on the dyno (without true air speed) - the bar a plate stuff will always be able to sink a fair bit of heat initially and can look good until they heat sink then recovery becomes impossible. The thin wall tube & fin stay in a good window all the time provided the core size & air flow is sited to the application,
