nigel, can i ask you some pretty specialised questions if you can/ want to help. tried evo shops, race specialists etc to no avail.
i've driven a dealer demo 8fq300 all oe [years ago] which had [absolutely] pin sharp, feelsome, weighty, perfect steering as good as excellent non assisted steering. lotus guys rave about this level of feedback [check their forums]. it defines /makes the car and without it, it's poor.
-tein springs/ billies on re30 18'', goodyears, 17" a048s, swift springs on billies, tried every geo imaginable, exe-tc coilovers, swopped to stock springs/ billies/ stock wheels/ stock a046/ stock geo, changed rack bushes, roll centre whitelines/rod ends, drumsticks, even new rack from japan, braces, perrin psrs, polybushes etc etc etc. all failed !
steering feels very quick, precise but no connectedness/ feel/ weight whatsoever. tried a pas fluid bypass valve [doesn't work]. any ideas. just want that oe steering !! jamal, essex, txt best 07890725582. thanks

Hi Nigel, I asked about a year ago about the chances of importing a 6rs, am i right in thinking the strength of the yen at the moment is still too high to consider getting one across, have seen a couple up for sale recently, but been too slow in getting to them before they sell. Although there are a few for sale at companies on ph's i think they are too expensive for the spec they are.
