I see where you use piper race cams with 12mm lift
my question is ..is it MITSBP320 which is hydraulic profile you use?
or is it MITS1742 to MITS1744 that are solid race cams ?
I got a set of solid cams just want to know if they can work with hydraulic lifters

Re:Im not expert but I run Piper Race cams which have 12mm lift and they run fine on hydraulic lifters. I use Manley spring retainers and uprated locks. I previously used Piper retainers which gave me some trouble.

I got some Piper cams 12mm lift "solid profile" What would be the disadvantage of using hydraulic lifters with solid cam

Found the oil leak problem...took ex mani of to seal the stud again and found some valve stem oils seals are leaking...hence blowing out at flange! Got a set so a job for next week
