I had my pops and bangs mapped with no bov and they were fluent ect

but I've just fitted my hks again and they've all but gone, does anyone have any settings I could copy on to my ceddy rom with ecu flash?

This was my rom table atm

try increasing air injection times but I doubt its going to make a difference, also try drilling the sas bolts out to 6 mm

I've already done the same bolt mod fella but would increasing the timing work or should I add a bit more neg timing too

I was always given the impression that they only really worked with a recirc not bov?!?!

When you have a VTA the engine load does not drop into the SAS trigger load and negative timing area

Kind Regards

I think you can get it bang and flame with a vta from what I've read

I've got VTA turbosmart (dual port though so some must recric) and loads of pops and bangs... Surely you can have VTA and pops and bangs?

yes you can adjust the load point where it enters SAS/ALS and the point where it drops into negative timing but you could end up driving in that area

Kind Regards

dual ports are better as some air recircs, which lowers the engine load

Ah that explains it then. I'm also SD mapped if that makes any difference?
