any one able to recomend what sort of bulbs to get from halfords for loosing that yellow look?

wanting bright white/bluey white, similar to a hid kit.

I bought some from halfords a couple of week ago - they are much better than what I already had

The halfords expensive range (in the dark red packet) are ring xenon max bulbs which are a fair bit cheaper on ebay, ring do another which is supposedly even brighter but i forget the name, its xenon themed! :smthumbup

No legal standard xenon bulb will give you the look that you are looking for, you will spend 30 on a set of bulbs and still be dissapointed.

Why not bite the bullit and retrofit the HID kit, pretty straight forward once the bumper is off :)

retro fitting a HID kit isnt legal either, and with talk of MOT changes, bulbs might be a better option

People on here used to talk of 100w headlight bulbs, might be worth a little research

Refitting the bulbs is doing my nut in....... The metal retaining clip will just not go back in... Is there an idiots way of doing it...
