In car camera mount

Been looking for the last week for a good camera mount. I have a Sony DSC-W35 with a thread in the bottom.

Don't suppose anybody has any idea's of a mount that will fit. Would like a simple windscreen mount (like a satnav suction mount)

cheers

cheers mate. don't suppose there is a more discrete one. my camera is only the size of a credit card.

Also wondered if there was a dash mounted option? something that sticks down with a thread to attach the camera with

Can't you flip the video when you edit it?

I phoned hauge yesterday about this...the cheap one is upside down only (silly really)...the next one up is 70 ish....and is too big on the screen if you have a passenger.

Ive done a few trackdays and filmed them all on my "home made one"...ill put pics up soon.

:D...made it from a tomtom mount and made up a steel box with padding for the sony camera....been perfect vision and sound for me on every trackday.Very tight fit...doesnt move around at all.

be careful if you want a suction mount for trackdays as more and more circuits are stopping the use on safety grounds.

Exactly...all the more reason not to spend silly money on one and get told you cant use it!!

I got one of these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Window-Roof-Mount-Suction-Camera-Binoculars-Tripod_W0QQitemZ350159590990QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CamerasPhoto_CameraAccessories_TripodsSupports?has h=item350159590990&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1700|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318) and was fine at Combe. Just have to rotate the image afterwards!

Ive taken a video upside down on my camera to try and see if the hague cheap mount would be any good once/if rotated.

How do you rotate a video so that its the right way round????? (not upside down)

Ive got media player classic/winamp/nero...cant rotate on any:smthumbdo

I use one of these too, in the Evo and off roading in a heavily modified Disco - works a treat every time!

Stand used is 5.99 from Maplin. All you need is that and some bolts and washers. Total cost well under 10.
