Ecuflash mapper in london

Just a note to say anyone looking for an ecuflash mapper in or near the london area who has extensive mapping experience, access to a workshop and a dyno, then drop me a pm and I will put you in contact with him.

Am only saying this as many people ask, and I only found out yesterday that he maps ecuflash too.

He is also a trained ralliart mechanic!

Anyway, won't post details as he isn't an authorised advertiser, and hasn't asked me to post, I just know it will help out a lot of people in the area who don't want to tackle it themselves.

:mhihi:

Good call though, London is a bit bereft of such places.

Fantastic news! I may well be in touch regarding dialing in my new cams on a RR to get the torque profile I want.

BTW: Why doesn't he sign up as a trader, I'm sure he'll make a killing on here.

Adamantium

Because he already makes a killing mapping other ecus on other types of Rice rockets.

Is well known in subaru circles and skyline circles having done, and still doing them all on a daily basis.

plus he operates dastek rather than dd, meaning most people on here won't want his dyno tuning facilities (idiots).

All sounds good apart from the above statement, is this really a plus point, most don't know their arse from their elbo :D

rob?

the very same. it would seem he is happy to map ecuflash. he has my car as we speak fitting the saikou - sorry taylor8, and the hks evc6.

Adamantium

Perfect Touch.

ralliart is where he started, he definitely knows what he is doing and is a very competant engine builder.

Where abouts are you putting the Saikou, Adam?

(Apart from "in the engine bay")

rob is a top top top top top fella.

some1 i met many a year ago. actually so long ago i probably wouldnt recognise him.

Adamantium

we all drive rice rockets.

rob built my 22B, if anyone wants to see what he can do, it was a good example!

Shame it was stripped and sold :(, but the man did some genius work on it.

pt is famous for their punto magic.

punto gt is my ricer :D

rob mapped dean olivers skyline if any of u lot know it, and ibor's evo. them lot r happy with his services thats for sure.
he also did some work on a p1 that has sadly gone to car heaven, and im pretty sure he did some work on brad's sti, though not 100% on this 1.

(ib's, if your readin this, send me a pm ;))

Adamantium

lol,

rob has mapped hundreds of cars that i know of, many of which are skylines, but he cut his mapping teeth on subarus which he now maps often, along with evos.

Mostly hks fcons, but also power fcs, motecs etc. Because of this he knows his way around ecus and mapping.

I just thought others who wanted access to mapping more local to london might find the contact useful.

v2aaa, I thought rice rockets had to originate from japland

Both Rob & Claudio are diamond geezas, and know their stuff for sure. Would thoroughly recommend them/PT to anyone.

Adam, is he going to further map your car?

Adamantium
27-03-2008, 17:59
nope.

I was hoping we would map my car with you teaching me what to do myself using this new found laptop I am typing to you from.

Rob, not sure where he'll put it. I have told him he can cut it in half if he needs to but he doesn't think space will be a problem.

sohail,

there are a lot more things I want to do maping wise.

I am fairly confident the wot map is ok already, but I want to be able to understand the ecuflash stuff such as the alt maps, JB's live mapping, and also potentially map switching for WI in the future.

I also am dead keen to use the NB simulator to get switch to 1.05 lambda on cruise to maximise economy.

Right now I think the car NB might be ****ed as I am only getting 220 miles or so to a tank if lucky.

Oracle
27-03-2008, 19:26
No probs Adam.

Don'y bother with the NB switching higher lambda.
If NB is dodgy the CEL would stay on or flash randomly.

When map switching is released just have a very low boost to maximise economy and a completely mental map maxed out! Thats what I will be doing. The extreme of both worlds!

Low miles - the cold weather does not help as the car is on auto-choke more.
200-250 miles I suppose is reasonable. I have experienced 75 miles on full tank though!

step 1 - Evoscan logging.

Adamantium

Sohail,

external boost controller with low boost built in!

Am thinking of multi maps for different types of fuel.

I am certain that the 1.05 NB lambda switching will work wonders. Check out the economy tuning thread on evom, and look for jackoftrades' experiences.

You could try rescaling your injectors too.

Good idea tuning for 95 ron.
