Can anyone advise if ecutek reflashes are available by mail-order ? The reason I ask is that I live in Bangladesh.

sorry bud but you need to actually remap the ecu , using software on a laptop.

either on the road or rolling road ;)

so unless you have a tuner in bangladesh your out of luck

Hope this helps John

A ecutek map could be the same as say a ralliart ecu map this will safely run more boost etc and increase performance.

I,m sure one of the ecu techies will confirm. :)

All you need is a laptop and the software plus the lead.

many people offer this service, however im not convinced its a goood idea to actually get your car done. If you want ot learn, and oyu have patience, it maybe ok for you, you will need laptop with tactrix cable, download ecuflash, and download evoscan, start to learn many confusing things also :D

no matter what people say, its hard for them to know your fuel quality and your air temps and so on, but it is possible

U could send the Ecu to one of the top tuners and get them to remap it.Then its just a matter of getting them to send it back :D

I'm sure Sam (Dentist Mapped) does this kind of thing quite a lot with foreign customers. (I stand corrected Sam :) ) If you have the logging ability there is no reason why it wouldn't work given time for a few revisions based on your logs.

hi mate try Jestr flash and ttp engineering over on evom.net. in the states

they do mail in flashes, even better they do email flashes, if you have a wideband and tactrix cable its really simple

drop me a pm if you want more info

also, please understand, even with a cable and a wideband (300$) and paying for a flash 100-200$ total around 500$ some good understanding of your ecu and lots of research, it may still take you a month to get your car mapped, lots of messing about and concerns :D

if you have patience, lots of time and money, and want to learn, or have no other option, then its worth giving it a try. There are some good guys on evolutionm who do it
