Top 3 cars you have owned

What are the top 3 cars that have you owned and what was good and bad about them
Mine are as follows

1) Saff cossie
Pro's - Best 2.0 turbo engine bar none, brutal power delivery, massive torque lairy handling which made it great fun to drive, Stealth image as it just looked like an old sierra so didnt draw any attention, superb leather recaros, reasonable insurance

Cons - unreliable due to ageing engine sensors etc 70,s dashboard and an amazing apetite for clutches, useless headlamps

2) Vectra ST200 prototype V6 challenge car
Pro,s massive standard spec including AP racing brakes, koni suspension, AP lsd, reworked gearbox, excellent recaro's, Swindon race engines tuned 2.5V6, White Speedline alloys etc etc. Dont take the pi55 this was a brilliant car awesome handling and looked superb with full standard bodykit and only 39 ever built Brilliant insurance £400 a year fully comp as it wasnt classed as modified

Con's Vauxhall dealers and the fact that it was a vectra so people didnt take it seriously to low to the ground you couldnt get it on a ramp or over a speed hump

3) Evo 6
Pro's reliable reasonably quick in standard trim to 100mph fantastic road holding, looks great

Cons rubbish brakes and gearbox, silly petrol tank, stupid insurance premiums, attracts to much attention and has a dismal seats,
Sometimes feels a bit to capable for its own good detracting a bit from the fun.

Anyway thats my top3 would be interested to know what some of yours are.

Great idea for a thread!
Well i've only ever owned four cars, so as my first car was a golf this is easy:

3) Civic type r
pro: great in a straight line, in the dry, with fresh tyres. best gearbox ever, fantastic brakes.
con: the chassis, ride quality and steering

2) Subaru Sti8
pro: engine noise
con: looks, gearbox, brakes, lack of low down torque, handling imprecise, looks

3) Mitsubishi Evo8 FQ300
pro: engine, steering, looks, handling, grip etc
con: costs, lowspeed ride on ****e roads, erm...

1) 1990 Saph coz 4bee Moonraker blue stage one chip, by turbosystems switchable boost, one for me one for the wife. 140k miles 1 clutch 1 head gasket, what a car. 10 years ago now but I remember it like it was yesterday.

2) 1992 Saph coz 4bee Moonstone blue facelift, what a car, no chip but still good, cost me nothing in over a year, in fact bought for 8.5k sold for 10.5k.

3) Car with adjustable Aileron 1999 Evo VI. Costing me a small fortune, but what a motor.

Johnnie No ***** Ahhhhh

1) Porsche GT2 - the best all round car I've ever driven.

2) Radical SR3 - ultimate track car.

3) Evo 6 - fantastic fun with super safe handling, very good car for the money.

I'm lucky enough to be taking both the GT2 & SR3 to Spa, life doesn't get any better that

Pros: was 1st fast car. Cons: handled like a wet piece of lettuce in a tidal wave.....

1) Ford Orion

Pro's - Best 1.6 engine bar none, brutal power delivery massive torque lairy handling which made it great fun to drive, Stealth image as it just looked like an old (POS) Orion so didnt draw any attention, thank god , superb recaros, reasonable insurance

Cons - It's a FORD, hence unreliable due to ageing engine (but it is the bestest ever amazingly 5hit dashboard and an amazing apetite for clutches, useless headlamps - in fact all parts needed changing on a weekly basis.

2) Evo 6
Pro's reliable reasonably quick in standard trim to 100mph average road holding , looks crap (my Orion was better)

Cons rubbish brakes and gearbox (hence no success in GRP N - if only FORD made it silly petrol tank, stupid insurance premiums, attracts to much attention and has a dismal seats (my Orions were far superior.

Feels a bit to slow for its own good detracting a bit from the fun.

3) My next car has got be a Sierra 4x4 - best handling, best everything - bar none

1) Mitsubishi Evo 6 GSR
Pro's: Great chassis, loads of steering feedback, superb traction, great to drive, hardcore functional looks, very practical actually!! (huge boot & seats 5 people)
Cons: small fuel tank, AYC, attention seeking looks, crap headlights, weak clutch.

2) Sapphire Cosworth 4x4
Pro's: Good chassis (after mods), superb brakes, great to drive (loads of sideways action), very quick in it's time, cheap and easy to mod, easy to work on, cheap spares.
Cons: Agricultural and noisy gearbox, unrefined engine, suspension design (sloppy rubber bushes), stealability, slippery leather recaro's.

3) Ur Quattro Turbo Widetrack
Pro's: Good chassis, good grip, awesome sound, superb road presence, very refined, classic boxey looks, very reliable.
Cons: Not very quick, understeer, digital dash, dated interior, expensive spares.
