it was on ebay for 7 but with the bottom end going looking for 5k o.n.o

the forge rods and cp pistons ect ect will be fine and all bits in spec list have only done 3.5k miles.. all inside is tidy and body work is straight.

i would rebuild the engine again but just lost heart in the car

Happened to me 3 times last year Gav, feel for you mate, it feels like you've had your guts royally ripped out.

Would need a new crank.....or maybe just new sheels if cranks wasn't badly done, so maybe not end of world, you never know.

Either way, good luck bud.

Cheers everyone I just lost heart in the evo world after this. Not going back to the pulsars unless I find a good forge one. I off to Honda next a turbo civic hopefully. The evos just seem so much looking after and so ££££ I just want it gone now.

surely if the engine has only done 3500 and had a new oil pump and built by a tuner then it should be under warranty?? especially parts warranty if oil pump failure?
