ROUND 2: OULTON PARK

An MLR Sprint at Oulton Parkís tarmac rally circuit is long overdue, so itís great to be returning for Round 2 of the 2017 Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series on Saturday 15th July.

Tarmac, but not as we all know it, Oultonís tarmac rally course is hugely entertaining with hardly a straight line in sight and is all about car control rather than power.

MLR Regs:
  • All cars must be MOT's or MSA log-booked
  • All cars must carry a securely mounted fire extinguisher - minimum 1.5kg
  • Cars running slicks go into the top class
  • Cars running slicks must have a full rollcage
  • Cars with fuel cells must have a bulkhead
  • Drivers must wear flame retardant race suit & gloves if their car has internal fuel lines
  • Tyres can't be changed during the event (unless for safety)
  • Single seaters are welcome but run in their own class
  • Noise limit is 105 dBA static

Oulton Park Sprint Timetable:
  • 08:00 - Registration
  • 08:45 - Driver Briefing
  • 09:15 - Sighting lap
  • 09:30 Ė 3 Practice runs, MLR classes set & first of the Competitive runs
  • 12:00 - Lunch
  • 13:00 - Competitive runs continue
  • 16:30 - Event closes and trophies awarded
    (Timings are approximate)


Trophies and Points Table:

Trophies will be presented on the podium to the top 3 drivers from all classes after the final run;

Pace Ward MLR:
  • SUPER PRO Class E1
  • ROSS SPORT Class E2
  • HKS Europe Class E3

Whiteline 22B:
  • Nolathene Class S1
  • Chevron Motorsport Class S2
  • Area 52 Autosport Class S3

Slip & Grip Guest Class



Bookings:
  • On a first come first served basis
  • To book, please visit the MLR Shop or call us on 08451 25 26 23.
  • Places cost £149 for the day
  • Please see MLR's Cancellation Policy here
  • All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email the week before the event
  • Call Pace Ward before the event if you have insurance queries on 01782 286311
  • Passengers can register on the day (front seat only) for a nominal charge of £10

My favourite round this,, cant wait for it,
Not sure what 4wd drive car ill bring, maybe a a45 amg or golf r, or maybe my evo 3rs,

either way ill defo be there!!

I need to confirm the details with MSV as there's a bike race meeting on the same day. Competitors will get in for free, and hopefully anyone in the car with the competitor. I'm hoping they will agree to spectators as well, but they might say it's members only and you'll have to show your membership card . . . but I'll confirm asap

After a great selection of cars in the Slip & Grip Guest class at Castle Combe, this class will now be split into 2 for all future rounds; 4WD Class and 2WD Class . . . perfect timing and I can't think of a more suitable name for that Slip & Grip for Oulton Park!!

Ordered a new fuel pump from Ross sport yesterday should have the car running well to make this

If all is well I'll be booking this this coming week castle Coombe was great fun
