ROUND 5: CROFT

The 5th round visits the first of two new venues for the 2016 Sprint Series - the fantastic 2 mile CROFT circuit in North Yorkshire on Saturday 3rd September.
A top-flight International racing venue which hosts prestigious Motorsport events such as BTCC, Time Attack and BSB, the course offers sections of super-fast sweeping curves of the Jim Clark Esses and Barcroft combined with long straights followed by slow corners – an entertaining and challenging 2 miles for all drivers!

Regs:
  • To remind yourselves of the Rules, Regs and Classes, click here
  • Noise limit is 105 dBA static
  • Passengers can register on the day (front seat only) for a nominal charge of £10
  • All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email the week before the event
  • Call Pace Ward before the event if you have insurance queries on 01782 286311

Croft Sprint Timetable:
  • 08:00 - Registration
  • 08:45 - Driver Briefing
  • 09:15 - Sighting lap
  • 09:30 – 3 Practice runs & first of the Competitive runs
  • From 09:00 - Class Check
  • 12:00 - Lunch
  • 13:00 - Competitive runs continue
  • 16:30 - Event closes and trophies awarded
    (Timings are approximate)


Trophies and Points Table:

Trophies will be presented to the top 3 drivers from each MLR class on the day will be presented after the final run...





First Time Sprinters:
As an intro to Sprinting we'll take up to 5 drivers (for MLR, 22B & GTR Series) who have never driven in a Sprint for free
  • register by calling us on 08451 25 26 23
  • we'll send you the info pack the week before
  • arrive on the morning to register
  • attend the drivers briefing, and take part in the sighting lap and the 3 practice laps
  • If you're hooked and want to drive in all the competitive runs just pay the event fee and continue!
  • Get in the top 3 of your class and be awarded a trophy on the Podium!



Bookings:
  • On a first come first served basis
  • If this is your first Sprint in 2016, there's a Registration Fee of £10
  • To book, please visit the MLR Shop or call us on 08451 25 26 23.
  • Places cost £139 for the day
  • Please see MLR's Cancellation Policy here

  • Restaurant: Catering will be available throughout the day from circuit the diner

Spectating:
  • Spectating at the Croft Sprint is free
  • No animals are allowed at the venue – even if left in a vehicle, so please leave them at home

Cant wait for this!! been a dry year track wise for me so far with very little tracktime so be good to get out there again

see you there Ian. I'm really looking forward to this too. Ray and I are taking our old evo 4. pity it'll be class D but cant be helped. Only there for the fun of it all though. I'm not competetive, as long as I beat Ray!!!

See how evos should be driven
Is there a bar there for couple pints and food?

theres a decent little pub just up the road outside of the circuit. Cant remember name but have been there many a time now.

Please can all drivers who have reserved their places at Croft call this week (08451 25 26 23) to pay the balance so we know who's running and can produce the runners list

There was a snack wagon when we were there for TA the other weekend buddy. Don't think there's bar... but nothing a travel fridge can't handle
