Cool * * * MLR Win TOTB Team Trophy - again! * * *

Posting this here as not everyone will be able to see my post in the TOTB category and I wanted to let everyone know what a great achievement the MLR Team pulled off yesterday at TOTBXII in winning the TOTB Team award once again!

Huge congrats to everyone in the team….

NIGE WILSON - Team Manager
BAZ 25 - Evo 6
NIGEL - Evo 8

. . . and all the crews and reserves (present or not on the day) - for all the graft and effort they put in to get cars ready for TOTB and everything they did on the day

It was quite odd to see us not do as well as usual in the handling, but to do so well in the Top Speed and 1/4 mile drag, and although a win seemed possible from the leaderboards I think we were possibly all a little surprised by the result - hence why a few are missing from the pic below! - but it was extremely well deserved and a fantastic effort from everyone!

Thanks also to the Steven Darley and the 22B team & Jeff Ludgate and the GTROC team for some insane competition all day - today was our turn to be a bit luckier with the breakages (although we had enough!), but ... and we'll look forward to defending the title next year

Can't scribble here without adding huge congrats to Andy Forrest for winning almost everything with the 12? cylinder Scoob-shaped missile - sorry I didn't see you to say well done personally before you left!

And final thanks to Trevor and his crew for the event once again, and always seeming to be there on his (new) scoot to answer whenever we had a question!

See y'all in July 2014

Well done guys What happened with the points at the end? I was talking with shell at the control tower and it said 22B had won by 7 points (iirc). Pretty **** poor communication really. Having said that, you can't expect much when they send the time slips down in a bucket on a string

Great result, didn't expect that honestly.
Couldn't come over this year, so missed the action

But next year I'll make sure to make a trip to Elvington again
