* * * 2012 Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series: THE FINAL - TEESSIDE AUTODROME * * *

Round 7: TEESSIDE AUTODROME - THE FINAL
  • For the 6th year in succession (IIRC!) and after another fantastic 6 rounds across the UK, the question of who will be Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series Champion once again goes down to the wire at the final round at Teesside Autodrome.

The Course:
.


The course will be the 1.2 mile International circuit - generally regarded as one of the best circuits in the MLRSS calendar - and the only evening sprint on the calendar which means you'll be competing under floodlights.

Date:
  • Saturday 13th October 2012 - 14:00 to 23:00


Capacity:

Practice and Competitive Runs:
  • As always we'll aim to give all drivers as many runs as possible
  • Cars /drivers will be split across four Evo classes, three 22B.com classes and a Guest class for any other drivers


Teesside Autodrome Night Sprint Timetable (approx):
  • 14:00 - Registration
  • 14:45 - Driver Briefing
  • 15:00 - Sighting laps
  • 15:30 - Practice runs start
  • 15:30 to 18:00 - Scrutineering
  • 18:00 - Tea Break!
  • 18:30 - First Timed Runs start (lights on!)
  • 22:30 - Event closes and trophies awarded
  • 23:00 - Venue clear


Trophies and Points Table:
  • The Class Tables and Overall Leaderboards will be updated asap to determine Pace Ward MLRSS Champion, as well as 2nd and 3rd place. Also the overall top 3 from each of MLRSS Classes.
  • Trophies for the following will be presented as soon as possible after the event has finished
    - All the winners from each class and FTD at the 2012 Final at Teesside Autodrome
    - The top 3 drivers in the Overall Series for each Class:
    - Overall Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series Champion and Two Runners Up


Bookings:
  • Booking will be by invite initially to ensure drivers whi have competed in 3 or more rounds don't miss the opportunity to compete for class or overall wins. After that it will be on a first come first served basis.
  • Please visit the MLR Shop or call us on 08451 25 26 23. Places cost £129 for the event
  • Please note Cancellation Policy here


Regs and Additional Info:
  • To remind yourselves of the Rules, Regs and Classes, just click here
  • The noise limit is 103dBA (static)
  • Passengers can register on the day (front seat only)
  • All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email the week before the event


Sprint Insurance:
  • Will be available through Pace Ward - call the PW team direct on 01782 286311 if you have any queries or would like a quote


Tyres:
  • Tyre support for the event is TBC


Additional Info:
  • Fuel: There is no fuel available on the venue, so it's a good idea to bring fuel with you. The nearest SUL is approx 1 miles from the circuit
  • The Restaurant will be open throughout the day for breakfast and dinner and snacks
  • Passengers are allowed in the front seat only. There is a small charge of £10 and all passengers must where a helmet and have their arms and legs covered
  • Spectating is free, but please park outside the venue if you come in your own car

With it been the Final event, some of us Scoob guys are camping the Saturday night, a few beers, BBQ ect. Angie at the track has said its ok.
Better than a long drive home 11pm at night.
