* * * Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series 2011 - Round #2 CASTLE COMBE * * *

After a fantastic opening round to the 2011 Pace Ward MLR Sprint Series, the 2nd round moves south west to fast Castle Combe circuit on Saturday 30th April


The Course:
The final course is yet to be confirmed but will be announced shortly. However it will run from the pitlane as in 2010 and complete the majority of a lap


Practice and Competitive Runs:
As always we'll aim to give all drivers a minimum of 10 runs on the day with a possible maximum of 16 available (depending on time etc). Everyone is welcome and there are four Evo classes as usual, and an additional Guest class for all other cars which includes the guys from 22B.com after they requested an official invite


Regs and Additional Info:
* To remind yourselves of the Rules, Regs and Classes, just click here
* The noise limit is 105dBA (static) and all cars will be tested before going on track
* Passengers can register on the day (front seat only)
* All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email the week before the event
* Pace Ward will be on hand to deal with any insurance queries, or call them on 01782 286311 now
* Spectating is free


Castle Combe Sprint Timetable:
08:00 - Registration
08:45 - Driver Briefing
09:15 - Sighting lap
09:30 - Practice runs start
09:00 to 12:00 - Scrutineering
12:00 - Lunch
13:00 - First Timed Runs start
16:30 - Event closes and trophies awarded


Trophies and Points Table:
Trophies for all class winners and overall winner on the day will be presented after the final run and the points tables and leaderboard will be updated asap after the event.


Registration and Briefing:
Registration and briefing will be in the Tavern restaurant


Tyre Support:
Steve Harkness Tyres will be attending this round as he did for Silverstone, so if you have any tyre queries or orders, please contact Steve direct on 07734 798142


Spectators:
It's free for Spectators to attend the Castle Combe Sprint, and have access to the whole circuit perimeter if you don't want to remain in the paddock


Bookings:
* On a first come first served basis.
* Please visit the MLR Shop or call us on 08451 25 26 23. Places cost £129 for the day

Excuse me, what did you place in your class ?? i placed 4th in mine on brand new unsrubbed tyres and a slipping clutch

I know mate, 5th in class and overall for me...

Class D is fun though, I like the power and Im allowed plastic windows..

well to be honest no other complete team entered as nothing was submitted via the web page. I have no idea who was in nevernevermans team either. Technically we should have won the 1st round but I think if Paul gets his team sorted they may still beat us
