Yokohama - beat the 2011 price rise & vat increase!

Yokohama have just informed me that they will be raising their prices from 1st January 2011, which coupled with the rise in VAT (to 20%) will mean a double increase in tyre prices unfortunately. If you're in a position to buy some tyres now you'll be making some good savings though (hence this post!), and Yokohama have agreed to honour any orders placed before 1st January should stock run out in that time.

Here's a list of tyres currently available from Yokohama with the "Current Price" / "2011 Price" and ("Saving per tyre if bought now") in brackets.
All prices per tyre, including VAT and delivery to a business address (or home address if someone is guaranteed to be there) within the UK mainland.

A048R:

235/45x17 Medium Hard: £164.32 / £179.85 (+£15.53)
225/40x18 Medium Hard: £185.09 / £202.57 (+£17.48)

NEOVA AD08:

235/45x17: £127.13 / £145.01 (+£17.88)
225/40x18: £145.19 / £165.62 (+£20.43)
235/40x18: £181.48 / £206.99 (+£25.51)
245/40x18: £186.91 / £213.18 (+£26.27)
265/35x18: £217.81 / £248.44 (+£30.63)
235/35x19: £217.81 / £248.44 (+£30.63)

Advan Sport:

225/45x17: £91.70 / £103.38 (+£11.67)
235/45x17: £104.55 / £118.16 (+£13.61)
225/40x18: £117.97 / £133.13 (+£15.34)
245/40x18: £150.15 / £156.78 (+£ 6.64)

Hi Eagle-Evo5

I didn't list these as Yokohama only have 7 tyres and expected to have sold them by now - but I've just spoken to them and they are still on the shelf. Price now is £127.13 per tyre, price on 1st Jan will be £145.01 - both include VAT and delivery. I have reserved 4 for you until midday today, so please let me know if you'd like to order them or call 08451 25 26 23 to pay.

Hi C2VNY,

Yokohama haven't had any stock of this tyre for ages and still don't have an ETA I'm afraid

Am I correct in thinking the Neova AD08 is one of the best all-round tyres for an Evo?

Yeah think I may go for some when I can afford them.... don't want Toyo T1-R's again although they've been on my car for 18k miles and still have 4-5mm tread
Fronts are down to the canvas on the insides though due to a (now sorted) crap geometry set-up in the past.
