So spend so far £525

Remaining budget £1475

I'll P.M Rich@RG and ask him ever so kindly to put a price on fitting and mapping.

So I think it's looking pretty good, it all depends on the turbo or hotside issue really?
Matt,

You will also need an uprated bov, a metal one from a later car will work well as the plastic job will not hold boost at the top end

The elbow wont do much either the std item is very good so you could save yourself £50, also try and get an apexi or R spec 3 port solenoid this will mean you can hold a lot more boost as well at the top end.

Just mt 2ps worth

Cheers Lee, I've already got a HKS SSQV I take it that will do the job? And the elbow is bought and paid for so I may as well stick that on.

To save a little confusion as this thread has become a little long the list looks like this:

Already installed:

5Zigen Miracle Fireball Cat-Back
3" De-cat Downpipe
3" De-cat
HKS SSQV (VTA)
AEM Short Ram Induction kit

Purchashed against £2k budget:

GSC S1 cams £290
Walbro Fuel Pump & BPR8ES plugs £95
E9 Injectors £50 (T.B.C)
Ebay cheapo elbow £50
Oil Catch Can £40
10.5 Hotside or IX 90 Series tubby (Still looking)
Boost Solonoid (Still looking)
Labour and Mapping £T.B.C

All the above will work fine, have you looked at up grading your brakes also is the car still on std springs/shock as these are areas that people forget when going for more power as you need to stop just as fast ?

Cheers

Currently standard brakes, shocks and springs.

I'll be getting a set of upgraded brake pads as the OEM items are crap.

definately, if you can cope with squealy pads, carbotech (pm the tyrant) XP8 's are very good, but some can squeal a lot, others dont seem so bad

im on xp10 front

xp8 rear

uprated 2 part fronts - godspeed i think.

this tears the skin off my face when i brake

god knows what 6 pots are like with oversized disks

the OEM disks if pushed hard are prone to warpage IMO, i ruined mine on one single track session, just one session!!

if i chose again, id probably have some K sport calipers and some nice disks and pads

MATT i use PF.10 pads all round and they stop me dead. Also the break dust is easy to wipe off and i get no squeal. Not like carbotech xp8 pads which squeals and the breakdust sticks to your alloys but they also do stop you dead. All depends on what you want. I like my alloys to stay looking good and clean thats why i chose PF.10s.
