Hate to ask, but......£2k what to do?

I find these threads are normally quite annoying and seemingly pointless as they rarely come to any solid conclusion, but I'm really struggling now to decide what to do and a little confused.

The long and short of it is that I have around £2k to spend, I'm not looking for amazing power figures and I won't be taking my car on a track as it's my daily driver.

I'm more than happy to go down the second hand parts route, in fact I would probably prefer this as I'm a tight ar55e and always need to feel like I've got my money's worth (Even when I haven't)

My car is a 260 with the following:

5Zigen miracle fireball 3" exhaust
Both Cats removed and replaced with 3" pipework
AEM short Ram induction kit
HKS SSQV (Just thought I'd mention it)
I'll have a limitless 1.3u cable in the next few days courtasy of one of our members on here for your information.

So what can I do? Your opinions would be appreciated, although I would say the only thing I don't want to do is driver training I don't want to take my car on track and I don't want to drive on open roads as if I am on a track, I just want a bit more ooomph out of my motor.

Please help this hopeless idiot.

Cheers

cams, boost controller and swap the hotside of your tubby to a 10.5 should see you in the very high 300's

Think I would go for uprated fuel pump, Cams, AVCR boost controller, and a remap.

272 cams , ktr/hks hardpipes and a pump , controller & map package should see you 370 bhp ish. , if you can opt for a 9 turbo 80 series to tip 400.

Would 400bhp be pushing it a bit on a car with over 50k on the clock? I use this car everyday which is why I'm getting bored of it really, but I'm a bit worried about pushing it too far. I know there's no definite answer either way, but opinions would be nice I know no one can definitly say "Yes your car will blow up" or "No you're definitly fine up to 10 squillion bhp"

Is that easily done? I don't want to buy an Apexi AVCR as I had one for 6 months never fitted and sold it on here not so long ago

You'll make more power with a boost controller bud, nailed on, avcr are good tbh.

Useful for switching between boost settings.

Any other decent ones that can switch boost settings?

i was in the same boat recently - do a compression test and it will give you a good idea as to what state of health your engine is in.

i'm also in a similar situation wanting more power. i'm going with an apexi avcr, walbro fuel pump, 3" downpipe, sports cat and a remap.
hardpipes and cams may arrive if i can afford them.

get hold of some gauges too if you haven't already; that way you can keep an eye on things if you're worried about the car's health

Cat Driving course, brakes and coilovers

£2k may be pushing it though

They are in order of importance though.

definately warlbro fuel pump, non-260 injectors (MR or other 8's are fine), either 10.5 hotside or evo 9 tubby, cams and adjustable pulleys, setup cams, plugs, remap with switchable maps
