AMS Built Pikes peak car video now with more POWER!

Rich whipped up a little video of the Pikes peak car we just completed having at it on the Dyno. WRC power and torque!!!!

I thought the point was that like the wrc cars there is a restictor to cap the power? Therefore 320 hp/ 440 ftlbs is pretty good with the restrictor in? Bet if they posted up the graphs it would have an amazing spread of useable power...

A modern WRC car, running FIA fuel (102ron, 90mon), produces 350 - 370bhp and 550+ft/lbs. The WRC 05 "Evo" had/has over 600 ft/lbs

These are the AMS graphs "borrowed" from their evom thread

Other then expressing surprise that peak torque is not nearer to 3000 rev/min it would be wrong to comment further.
