Rockingham sprint 'snaps'

Well I popped down to Rockingham yesterday for the sprint, as I have missed most events so far this year. Joined the A1 at Colsterworth only to see Farmer North in his shiney trac'or in my rear veiw mirror, followed by Gav & Steve D'. So I wound my window down to say hi, in a manor that may get his attention, and it did. Duely pulled over to let the posse pass and followed them to the sprint. On arrival at Rockingham, there appeared to be some sort of agricultural exhibition on, and at first Northy drifted to this as opposed to the track, but then realised and kept going. We aren't sure but we think he may have sneeked of to it as I think I saw his trade stand.

The weather for the day was constant drizel. So far this year all the sprints have been dogged with bad weather apparently. The track was very wet with several spins and a couple of offs', though luckily no injuries. A few scuffs here and there, with a retirement from one, whom I shall not name, hope you got back home alright. A small 'racing incident' in the car park, sorted amicably in the paddock area. I also think that the driver who posted the slowest lap, could have done with being there for the sighting laps

Anyhoo, here are pics of the runners from the dayenjoy. Will post a couple more later.

Daz
