Just thought you mates would like to hear, 9sec9 in the US broke the Stock Appearing Turbo Record last night 10/10/08, running a FP Red 9.57@143.84, 114.8mph 1/8. For the quickest run, and ran a 145mph for the fastest. Buschur 2.0, Wilson Manifolds v2, Bushwacker Trans. Cheers

holy sh!t - didnt think the fp red was capable of that

fp red , mmmm

And the best part it's still a street car. Here is the video of the MPH record run http://videos.streetfire.net/video/B...MPH_189619.htm they are working on the video for yesterdays runs and I will post them when they are done. Cheers

ok mate strictly speaking a street car, but how much difference do those big drag radials make over bog standard road tyres??- i'm not questioning the results - i genuinely dont know

I did

I have been saying it all along as I did with green when it first came out.I got 392whp on pump out of a green on stock internals,i wonder how much I will get with the red!?


The red is capable of 590 fwhp for sure!

The turbo was changed today from a FP Red to a large frame variant. Both were run at 41psi with VP Import race gas. The first untuned pull was 703 whp it has been detuned and will be finished at the track. I will post the results from the track on Monday. Cheers

Try running the red on race and 2+bar of boost with the right things and do the maths! 590 fwhp might sound much for a stock frame turbo but it will get up there!

9sec9's 2nd pass: 3.90 330' 5.88 at 124.41 1/8th top of 3rd IC pipe came off turbo, no big deal coasted through 9.36 @ 127.81

Wounded the valvetrain on 9sec9's car. Going back to the shop for repairs, back out Wednsday. Buschur's street car just went 9.04@156 and change.
