The man and car are awesome he ran 9.3's all day, that 9.1 run was not even perfect it bogged a touch on the start, the way it picks up after second gear is not real, looks like someone has pressed fast forward, do not know how he stops the thing there, not alot of run off area

Thanks guys
Here's the 9.1 run taken from behind....oh-er An excellent day everything considered with all 7 runs in the 9's Note to self.... don't do celebratory do-nuts on warm sticky drag radials... its not good for the shafts http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=25sad5g Andy

The track guys at York Raceway were excellent, they had the track well prepped and sprayed right up to the 1/8th. They were actively seeking feedback on how the track felt and re spraying as necessary. Pulled my best ever 60' there yesterday at 1.541
I think thats why Steve was jumping on the startline He knew the track was spot on. It's difficult to get an ideal surface for launching a 4wd car and to have the UK 4WD (perhaps European ?) record there means a lot to the track team. Well done guys.....I'll be back See http://www.york-raceway.co.uk/homepage.html for events line up. Andy
