* * * Rampage MLR Sprint Series - Round 3: TEESSIDE AUTODROME * * *

MLRSS Round Three. . .
With the first two highly competitve rounds at Silverstone and Llandow behind us, the Rampage MLR Sprint Series moves North to the truly brilliant Teesside Autodrome on Friday 8th June. If you thought Silverstone and Llandow were good, you're in for a treat at the Autodrome as we'll be using the 1.5m International Circuit which has everything; fast straights, chicanes, tight and flowing corners and an incline! A similar lap to this (but in a proper car!)

To take part in the Round 3 of Sprint Series you just need to be an MLR member and drive an Evo. See the full Regs here . Places will be limited to 30 cars so we can still run the number of practice and timed runs with the longer lap, so please book your place asap through the MLR Shop or by calling us direct on 0845 12 LANCER (526237).

Kart Race & BBQ!
After the awards (and a rest!) we’re planning to hold a kart race for up to 25 drivers, and also have a BBQ for all everyone at the event. There's also a licensed bar for anyone not driving, or who wants a beer after the race. We might even find a bottle of Champagne for the winner!

The Kart Race will follow Autodrome’s “Ironman” format; 20 minutes practice and qualifying, followed by a 40 minute race. We need a minimum of 15 drivers to make this happen and priority will go to drivers who took part in the Sprint Series Round earlier.
Price will be discounted to £35 each - but please call us now to book! If there are any places available on the night they'll be offered to members who didn't take part in the Sprint.

The BBQ will be £5 per head but we need to have an idea of numbers so the Autodrome can have a fighting chance of getting enough food for us, so please let us know how many of you will want the BBQ by replying here or PM’ing me or Chell.

Accommodation :
For anyone wanting to stay over, we’ll be staying at the Travel Inn at Middlesbrough South (Middlesbrough Road, Upsall, Guisborough, Cleveland, TS14 6RW Tel: 0870 990 6540).

See you there!

This should prove to be a great day and evening guys.

I have been on this track in both a quick cart and my V gsr and it's a brilliant little track.

You get about 110 down the main straight, which is followed by a great cambered 180 degree sweeping bend.

Here's some recent track footage from one of our members http://www.lancerregister.com/showth...hlight=teeside

There's a bar / restuarant which overlooks the track, and an outdoor patio area so it's also great for spectators.

Easy access - just off the A66 dual cariageway into Middlesbrough.

I'll probably camp there myself afterwards on the Friday night - so we can have some beer / socialise at the BBQ afterwards.

This is quite tempting, looks like a fun track plus I could come last and still get my best result to date with the amount of runners there are at the moment

If we don't get enough numbers for the karting, how about the extra hour as an open pitlane track session ??
