Mr 6 speed

Wondered If anyone could give me some advice with a possible issue I have regarding my 8mr 6 speed - but I've got a feeling the only option will be to send For a rebuild or maybe some petrol and a match.....

Basically I get a rotational metal / mechanical noise while driving but the minute I dip the clutch it disappears.

The Warmer the car the louder it is - it's hard to hear with a 117db exhauste but I can hear in built up areas.

Clutch also judders while pulling away only high revs prevent this. And sometimes it Clonks. Brand new ACT clutch and fly 2nd one in 6 months 1st one slipped from day one.

None of this have any effect on the way it drives... Well at the moment anyway.

I had someone have a quick look at it and he thinks there's a lot of slack in the diff and believes that's where the clonking comes from. But you can also hear a slight rotational noise while spinning the wheels on a ramp.

Thanks in advance

Run new fluids through the gearbox and transfer box then see if it's still there. If you can select gears without issue and there's no grinding I wouldn't worry

Had new fluids, we're all clean. Every gear is spot on. No crunching. Just constant metal rotation noise. Was considering shock prof fluids?
