Black 2001 Evo 7 GSR with Stroker Kit (approx 400BHP ATW)

Car is now SOLD!

Those of you who have been here for many years may remember me from the dim and distant past! I dropped out of the Evo scene but kept my 7 and have been using it regularly although the "souping up" stopped a long time ago. Anyway, the time has come for me to say goodbye to it

General:
2001 registration with private plate (W400EVO)
56,000 miles (Stroker kit / engine rebuild at 18,000 miles)
Approx 524BHP (397BHP at the wheels when last rolling-roaded) - conservatively mapped by MA Developments
FSH (mainly MA Developments and RG Motorsport)
One owner from new!
MOT until January 2018 (no advisories)

Engine:
Stroker Kit (2227cc) including:
MAD Spec Arrow Forged Conrods (1.5mm longer)
MAD Spec Steel Billet Crank (97mm Stroke)
MAD Spec JE Pistons (0.5mm oversize)
FullRace GT35R Turbo with Manifold and Custom Downpipe
MAD Spec Piper Cams
Headwork including modified ports, valve seats and guides
Walbro GSS432 Fuel Pump
Bosch Motorsport 044 Fuel Pump
SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator
Autronics ECU with ALS
Blitz DSBC Type-S Boost Controller
MAF removed and 4-Bar Map Sensor used
Crower Stainless Valves, Springs and Titanium Retainers
Piper Vernier Pulleys
Knock Sensor
Balancer Shafts removed
Intercooler Spray removed
SAS removed
ARP Head Bolts
ARP Main Bolts
ARP Conrod Bolts
HKS Head Gasket (1mm)
SARD 1000cc injectors
Uprated Lash Adjustors
K&N Air Filter
Tial Dump Valve
Ralliart Sports Thermostat
Ralliart Oil Filler Cap
Ralliart Radiator Cap
Hayward and Scott Decat Pipe
Blitz Nur Spec-R Exhaust with modified waist

Transmission and Suspension:
B&M Shortshift Kit
Sport ACD (K1 unit)
Tein Flex with EDFC (not used for several years though)
Powerflex Bushes
Cusco lower front 2-point strut brace
Cusco upper front 3-point strut brace
Cusco upper rear 3-point strut brace
Cusco lower rear 2-point strut brace
New brake pads and disks

Wheels and Exterior:
Black 8x18" Speedline 2120 Turini wheels (with newish tyres)
Window Tints (35% Front, 20% Rear)
Fully undersealed (recently redone by RG Motorsport)

Interior and Security:
R-Spec Oil Temperature Gauge
R-Spec Voltage Gauge
R-Spec Oil Pressure Gauge
Ralliart Titanium Pedal Set
Ralliart Floor Mats
Ralliart Seatbelt Pads in Rear
Clifford Concept 300

Being 16 years old, it's not in immaculate condition - there are some scuffs on the alloys and the paintwork has faded in a couple of places. Also, tree pollen or the like seems to have got into the tint on the passenger window.

Rich at RG Motorsport has worked on and serviced the car for the last several years and I'm sure would be happy to confirm that it is mechanically sound.

As well as receipts for the work done and servicing, I also have a few other bits and bobs such as the original ACD unit, car mats and pedal set, a spare battery and the catalytic converter.

It's difficult to price up these kind of cars but I'm looking for £12,500.

Car is located in Kent (Tunbridge Wells) and I can be contacted on 07970 548155.

I'm going to try and upload some photos to this thread now but can WhatsApp them if need be (plus any others if required e.g. close-ups of certain areas).

Not sure what the etiquette is around test drives but to avoid time wasters / test pilots I would be looking for a deposit beforehand.

Thanks,

Croz

Get a few pics up of the bay and underneath, it'll help sell it.

Seems a fair price for the spec

Any questions or if you want more pics, give me a shout via WhatsApp or croz@hotmail.co.uk.

I should also probably say that I'm not looking to part exchange as I've just bought an Ecoboost Fiesta. Am feeling too old for my Evo now - time for a fellow enthusiast to take over!

Thanks

Cheers Mike - I'll take some more pics of the engine bay (and perhaps give it a bit of a wipe clean!). Should have taken some pics of underneath when it was last at RG Motorsport - doh!

Can confirm that it's all totally sound underneath - no rust.

Simon has bought it (not sure of his MLR name).

Sorry to see it leave but the car has gone to a good home.
