2003 Silver Evo 8 - Whats It Worth

Hey guys, looking to put my evo up for sale as I'm looking to buy a house very soon. Im in a bit of a pickle and after some advice, i will put the add below with a lot more information in. But the basics, i bought it just under a year ago for 」10500, I've looked after it, got ti serviced etc, done hardly any miles in it. Took it on a track day and was having a play in the wet and had a little to much fun and got a tank slapper on now I've repaired it as best i can to a point, i was getting quotes of 」5k to cut all the panels out and put new ones in etc and spray, take rear window out. i couldn't justify spending that sort of money on the car and then losing it when it comes to selling. so i pulled the dent out as well as i could, and this is how it is now. has a new rear bumper that needs painting, the quarter is a bit ripply and the boot has a scuff. so my options

1. Sell it as it is
2. Get it panel beaten and filled and sprayed etc to tidy it up from how it is now and sell it

obviously id love to get it into the best condition possible but I'm looking to lose the least money on it. obisously if i leave it as it is then il get less, what do you think its worth. but then if i was to get it sprayed and tidied what would it be worth then?

any help would be great thanks guys.

Evo Advert

Below is the original ad that i bought the evo from back in September 2016.

I bought this off a very close friend of mine who had spent a long time looking before he bought this particular car. He bought it from an elderly gentleman who was the original owner up until April 2012. He then owned it up until November 14 which is when I purchased this superb car. There are a few sensible mods which I will note as well as some important service milestones.

Full HKS exhaust (inc decat ) original cat included
Full HKS hard pipe kit (original air box included
Uprated actuator
Uprated high pressure fuel pump
Bilstein struts all round with eibach springs ( approx 12mm drop)
Adjustable boost via intercooler switch, low boost 1bar,high boost 1.6bar
BHP 350-360 with matching torque.
Mapping was done to run on v,power.
I've had a lot of cars and this is qickest,it pulls like an absolute train in every gear.
All work was carried out by MG Auto Motorsport in Derbyshire who also did the remapping to go with the upgrades. This work was carried out in January 2014 at 54842 miles.

Service milestones

Clutch and flywheel (Exedy) fitted January 2012 at 50805
AYC pump rebuild carried out in January 2012 at 50805
Cambelt, balance tensioners and auxiliary belt done in January 2014 at 54842 miles
All four tyres are matching bridgestones and are barely worn
Discs and pads are excellent

I have all paperwork to prove work carried out and there is also full service record (18 stamps in book) to prove service work. All previous MOT's are current with a complete book pack and also the original bill of sale. I also have the showroom brochure!!

Being the FQ model it also benefits from:
6 speed box
Blue black recaro seats
Xenon headlights
Folding mirrors
Climate control
Full electric pack

This really is an exceptional example that drives and feels as new,the recaro seats still feel like new and they look like new as they have had covers on from new I believe,
Outstanding inside and out,and puts a smile on your face everytime (especially in high boost)! It also benefits from being in the low road tax bracket! HPI clear.

To be honest I'm only selling as I have a house project on the go,although I've nearly talked myself out of selling during writing this advert!!!!

There is also a Thacham cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with a antihijac system fitted.
I have both sets of keys

If your interested give me a ring to arrange a viewing(no time wasters please)

Thanks Oliver

Mon 27th Feb 2017 - AYC Pump sent to Harry Hockley Motorsport to quote for refurb
Fri 3rd March 2017 - Converted the rear fog up to the light cluster into one of the reverse holders (New bumper did not have a hole for fog light)

It's a tough one. Becuase I see it from both sides, I'm not an idiot, I've thought of it from the side of if I was buying the car aswell as selling it, the car is clean, good condition, well looked after, has all paperwork down to the original sell receipt and brochure, has some new Carbon bits less than a year old, comes with the aluminium undertray never fitted, returned pump etc! It's just this back corner that I've pulled straight and it doesn't look to bad, so it has a lot going for it, but this bit is an annoying bit.

Been chatting to a few people and I was thinking around 」8500

I take if from your location you live in Bristol?, go see Jason at jb autos in hanham he is a body shop wizard and won't rip you off! Google him he has a great rep I wouldn't use anyone else and really well priced he can repair that rear arch, once that's fixed I recon your car with those miles is worth over 」10k easy.
