Evo 8 mr fq320 2.3 stroker 630bhp *UP FOR SALE AGAIN*

Back up for sale again. She's only done 1500miles in the last 2 years, 141miles last year in total! During this time she's had a full overall with receipts totalling over 12k I'll update the old advert to the new stats

Not even sure where to start with this, I don't need a sale by any means. Ive just spent 3k on bits and I'm hoping to strap a bigger turbo on in the near future. As it stands it's the perfect fast road car but it doesn't get used enough. I'm looking at investing in other things so ideally after a cash sale but I will consider any px that I can sell on easily. I'm well aware not everyone has 25k clogging up their bank accounts.

This is not a show car with pretty colours and wasted cash, although she does look great and the paintwork shines. The carbon was mainly to reduce weight, the engine and chassis was built to track but the owner ended up buying an evo 4 aswell. He then had Johnny build the exact same engine but running ams inlet, shearer mani and 850r turbo on a single scroll making 800+bhp. He kept this evo as his weekend car. Vosa backed up around 4k over the last 5 mot's, 140 miles in total last year. Don't confuse this car with cheaper builds this evo was built to drive hard, with minimal issues, and it does.

Its my weekend/fun car, always garaged and never driven in the wet. I went over to Ireland about 24 months ago to buy it as it really is a one off car. Engine was originally built by Johnny@ AI autosport and will confirm everything. Its just been rebuilt by Dynotech of Ripley (reciept in pics) with uprated headwork and a new intercooler. There is loads I've missed, some of which I don't even know. Johnny built the engine to handle 1000bhp, thats evident immediately from the arrow rods. Not a cheap build by any means. Johnny mapped it on the original gt35 turbo in his rr days, but road mapped it when it was rebuilt with the gtx3582. Ant @ indigo gt mapped it 1500 miles ago and fitted an rs rear diff kit plus gave it a complete 18k service plus I requested new plugs too. Car made [email protected] [email protected] @2bar on one of the hottest days of the year. Ant took it for a spin and said it was mental quick. Enough said.

I then traded the car for a mk2 focus rs. I had on going problems with hpi on the focus... I battled through court, during this time came the next chapter for the evo,

The car was originally taken to Matt @ mg's where the owner I sold the car to 2 years ago replaced the twin plate clutch, koyo radiator and had gear box work done at a cost of 3k plus (invoice in pics).

The owner at the time then took the car to dynotech of ripley who stripped the engine. The Rods, crank and ancillarys are still the same but pistons were replaced following minor det due to secondary fuel pump failure. The whole head was also rebuilt with new parts, ported n polished, new valves, multi seated ect. This was at a cost of 7.4k and has barely been ran in.

This week (6/7/17) Matt @ mg checked the whole car over, did a compression test and repaired a few issues such as a slight leak on the turbo oil return then ran the car in on the rollers. It had 2x oil and filter changes plus spark plugs during the run in then the fully synthetic oil and filter before a power map. Car made 604bhp 560lbft @ 2.1bar which I'm pretty happy with considering the engine is tight and has had no road time at all. It'll easily put 50bhp 50lbft on those figures in 1000miles but Matt states it's quick as hell now. The torque is ridiculous and the power curve is perfect. Ontop of this Matt did the full geometry and an MOT.

Yeah they were absolutely fine. So no need to change.

I looked into a cop system but didn't see the need. A cdi cop would be my only upgrade once a coil pack struggled.
