Evo 8 tps plug

Any one no where I can find a new tps plug for evo 8, not bothered about being genuine. I would actually rather none genuine so I don't have to remove the clip every time I remove plug.

Thanks

just checking, you dont need to remove the clip b4 you pull the plug, just push the clip in the middle towards the plug as you pull the plug off

Yes you do, it's a pain in the arse specially on a aftermarket plenum when tps sensor is under plenum.

I also still need a plug wether it's genuine or not

next time, try pressing the middle of the wire clip towards the plug as you pull the plug off

Stu you can't do it on the original mits tps plug because the retaining pin sits hard down on the plug. Same as original injector plugs

http://www.ohm-racing.com/?product=1...nsor-connector

That's why I want a after market one so it's like this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171098077495

Oh I get what he's saying now lol

Thanks

It's a right pain mate specially now it's under throttle body I have to take throttle body off to remove it. Perhaps the 5 ones are diffrent I wouldn't no.

I could have been wrong, its a long time ago I messed with that part of the 5, and its now gone so I cant look

Do agree though, the push clip type would be far easier
