Evo 6 tommi makinen edition vi 6.5

My Tommy for sale:

Very Very Reluctant sale, but life is a bit hectic at the moment. I own a 5 which will be going up soon (just need to get the MOT done on it), so im not a trader.

My Tommy is an unmolested loved Makinen. It has not been messed about with and performs perfect as it should.

The car has only been imported in 2015 and has done about 5k miles on UK Roads. Current mileage is 82k. It is mint and was imported by SVA Imports as a grade 4c, I believe 5 is the highest. It was owned by the previous owner for around a year and previously before that was a show and shine car. The car comes with it the ORIGNAL JAPAN SERVICE BOOK AND MANUAL.

It is the definition of a Makinen and sits drives and sounds as a Tommy 6.5 should. The car is mint and has NO RUST anywhere. Has been undersealed on arrival to UK and all jacking points are perfect. This cas has been always loved, tight gearbox, smooth clutch, no knocks, no bangs and I am hoping I remove the add if my situation changes as you wont find one as nice as this.

Body 99% (as it is a 17 year old car but to me its 100%) There a few very minor stone chips on the front but nothing major at all.
Interior 99%
Engine Bay 100%
Underbody 100%
Drive Terrain 100% other than hearing the engine there are no squeaks, or other noises
Engine 100%
Turbo 100% original titanium turbo perform as it should
Alloys 100% Enkie alloys no curbing
Tyres 100% plenty of thread
Clutch 100%
Gearbox 100% smooth box
Original Car Mats
Sorry I am getting a bit carried away but I know my car and cant fault it.

Following Subtle Changes:
Russ fellows exhaust which sounds spot on
HKS BOV
HKS Mushroom filter
TEIN coilovers
3mm lash adjusters
Sigma Scorpion Thatcham Approved Alarm with Anti Hijacking

Following work been done less than 500 miles ago on the 15/06/2017:
-Full timing belt change including Auxiliary belt and balance belt pulley. The Timing belt was also done in 2015 but for peace of mind it was done again
-Water pump done at the same time
-3mm Lash Adjuster (Hydrolic lifters)
-Full Service
-Rocker Cover Gasket
-Front and back Disc (these still need to be embedded)
-Front and back Pads (these still need to be embedded)
-New Bosch Battery

Last week had the oil changed again as I was not happy with the oil to FUCHS TITAN RACE PRO with genuine Mitsi oil filter.

I have listed it at a reasonable price. I am open to sensible offers but wont except stupid offers as I know my car is strong, straight and a beautiful example. I have been to car shows and they all say pretty much the same thing “thats what a Makinen should look like in its original form”.

No Part exchanges please. Car is located near Solihull (not far from Birmingham Airport). Car was put on ebay for a lot more and there was plenty of time wasters, although I was out of the country on some times, and I am reducing it by a lot from the asking price of £18k

Our old TME .....

We were the original owners & Purchased it May 2015 from SVA. We Sold it in June 2016 to the second UK owner (once we put our Red TME back on the road).
The Russ Fellows Exhaust still looks good that we fitted shortly after purchasing the car
From memory the front bumper, roof and rear blade had all been resprayed by SVA prior to our picking up the Evo from them so the paint work unfortunately is not all original.

How nice of you to think out aloud.
The sale section has become laughable

No I am stating FACT I really had the chance to be the first owner when I saw it at SVA having my own VI on the dyno for a map check and service. Car was genuinely 'unmolested' then too.

Not commenting on the current market value - it is what it is. Glad I bought my VI when I did vs how much it's worth now.

Can I just add,

1) Very few 17-year-old cars will have all original paintwork, so this is hardly anything one should raise eyebrows at assuming it's painted to a reasonable standard

2) It's not really your business to disclaim, it's not your car anymore.

More reasons why I think the for sale threads should be locked with contact details listed.

You should also notice that the seller has amended his advert now so that it reads better. He was unaware of the above & would rather propective buyers know he is selling a genunie car with a genuine advert. I have wished him luck with his sale...and prospective buyers now know it was owned buy us which actually helps his ad. Comments like yours do not help his ad. Thanks.

Adding GLWS doesn't really change anything. Locking the thread so he can update his FST himself, does.

Colour it how you want, it is what it is and it's not down to you. A genuine person would understand that.
