The Kirkham car isn't selling though and didn't at a cheaper price either before the increase

Its quite funny this thread!

The car started at 30k, its now offers over 35k and the OP has been / still is calling every Evo's specialist possible to try and get them to bid against each other.

It'll be interesting to see who buys it....

PS: you aren't allowed to hear the engine running either, talk about buying blind.

This one really is " what someone is prepared to pay" with the owner working out how to maximise, terrible deal to be in.

I recently had the same problem trying to make a deal on a 1 owner 19k mile CSL, started at £55k then £70 then " oh but I see one for 90"

To the OP, Speak to a trader like JKSC and do a sell or return, best option for you.

Thread should be closed, poor information, no location and no price.

If Andy hasn't bought it, kind of shows something isn't quite right somewhere...

Let's just give the seller a chance folks, no need for smart comments etc, ok, it's not the best for sale thread and in his defence he was, probably has been inundated with calls and remember it is a VERY rare car after all. We'll all see or hear what happens I'm sure

3 pages now and no thread input from Stallion, the MLR advert police with a list of advert requirements.

Most who know and have dealt with me know I am very open and easy to deal with so:

I was the 2/3 person who spoke to the seller yesterday, he had no firm offers by that point but he wanted offers over 30k, I said ok but based on 30k plus I would need to inspect the car. We agreed for today but it was in storage.

I took the day off work to view but he called me at 9am to say he couldnt get access to the storage today, but he would go tomorrow and get photos, car could not be collected for a week but I had first refusal. I thought this was fair enough.

However I have spoken to 2 others who also have first refusal and a few private individuals and traders have called me today to ask my opinion for a valuation on a 4500 mile xtreme as they had been offered the car. I know its the sellers choice so I will just let it run.

The figure that is being banded around now is offers over 35k, but it would need approximately 2k spend to get it back on the road. As mentioned the car cannot be started due to belts, fuel, pumps etc not being run for 10-12 years.

Thanks

Andy
