The cars very clean underneath.

There is 1 or 2 areas which could do with being treated but the most of it looks new. The underside has stayed the same in all the time ive owned it.

The majority of the underside will clean up with very little effort any other areas would clean up no problem with a wire wheel leaving a good clean surface ready to be treated. There is NO sign of rot or even heavy rust.

Anybody who comes to view the car can see underneath on a ramp at my local mot station.

If was that clean would have sold long ago, but you have to spend over 1500 to clean that plus cleaning inside rails which is a pain...

But no ones even been to see it? Im sure the 1st person who sees it will buy it.

Even if you put £1500 into it to make it 100% surley its still a cheap car?.

as you asked, if it was under 10k then it would be cheap, relic or not its still 17yr old car that has rust to deal with regardless how much or how little there is. just my two pence

FFS. this is a for sale thread for my car!!.

My TME is now priced the same as the majority of TME'S out there for sale and is in no better or worse condition underneath

£10k TME'S dont look like this.

You wont import a TME in this condition/mileage either for £10k thats nonsense.

I appreciate the feedback but would prefer if people's opinions were left out of my for sale thread.

There was no ill meant with my comment. I just stated my opinion, I'm sure many would disagree but life would be boring if everyone said/liked same things.
I honestly do wish you best of luck with selling it

I'd allow another £300 for good quality rust protection and underseal so I'd expect £1500 to see the underside treated.

Get this done mate piece of mind for new owner. Theres a couple couple fresh cars @ 17k + with more miles, yours with a freshly treat underneath sub 50k miles should be worth the same if not more.
