Arrow 2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX GT Red

2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX GT

The GT was a Japan only model, benefiting from an RS drivetrain and limited slip differential instead of AYC, stronger 5 speed gearbox, Recaro Alcantara interior, Carbon Fibre rear wing. Imported from new.

Mechanical modifications include;
  • EVO400/Turbo Dynamics ball bearing turbo with cut back blades for quicker spool.
  • APS Intercooler
  • APS Dual Vent Dump Valve
  • Injen Turbo Hard Pipes
  • Magnex 3" Downpipe
  • HKS Hi Power Silent Exhaust
  • HKS Mushroom Air Intake
  • HKS Turbo Timer with digital speedo
  • Warlboro uprated Fuel Pump
  • Ecutec remap
  • GREDDY Profec Boost Controller
  • D2 6 Pot Front Calipers with drilled discs
  • Ohlins Road and Track Coilovers
The car was set up for fast road use, and produced 401bhp when last on a rolling road, just before I bought it.
It could be mapped for alot more if the engine internals and clutch were upgraded, but I always found the current power more than enough for road use!

Interior pics taken before re-fitting the original doorcards;

Standard doorcards now fitted;

Interior modifications;
  • Sony double din touchscreen headunit with Sat Nav
  • Infinity Component Speakers
  • Rare Lancer specific subwoofer
  • Ralliart Gear Knob

Exterior modifications;
  • Carbon Fibre genuine Ralliart front splitter
  • Carbon Fibre Roof Vortex Generator
  • Carbon Fibre Side Skirt Extensions
  • Carbon Fibre Custom Wing Mirror Bases
  • Carbon Fibre Number Plate Holder
  • Carbon Fibre Bonnet Vent
  • Rota Grid Drift 18" Wheels with Goodyear Assymetric Tyres
  • Evo VII Red Rear Lights (original Evo IX lights available if preferred)

Other;
  • CAT1 Security with remote locking
  • Tracker

Being an import, it didn't come with a service book, so it's previous owners kept all the receipts, and I have carried this on into a large folder.
It has been regularly maintained and just been serviced by RG Motorsport as per my last two Evos. Rich said he is happy to vouch for the car if anyone is interested!

Everything works as it should.
I always look after my cars and maintain them regardless, but this car has needed very little, and been completely reliable!

V5 present, two keys, HPI clear, no accidents.
Currently at 55,000 miles.
Lower tax bracket - £235 a year.
MOT - June 2017.
A few stonechips, but otherwise in excellent condition.

SOLD

Can't believe your selling it. Good luck with the sale and can't see it hanging around for long.

Hell that seems cheap. You can't get a decent standard fresh import for that money!
Is the turbo manifold from an FQ400?

Oh man!!! Much like my old one, which is the one car I truly miss!

GLWTS. If it were more in my budget, I'd be there with the cash.
