I was watching this on ebay, I thought I recognised it Just after you bought it I was talking to the previous owners son in the Shell garage. I had just pulled in there to fill up my white TME before it was trailered up to Simon Norris for mapping.
He was gutted it had been sold and thought he'd never see another around our area so was pleased to see mine. Hope your sale goes well, I'd have had a cheeky bid myself at around ten'ish

Hi,

I had so many offers for £10K, best was £11K...
I paid £13,5k in January for it, I wanted a clean MAK.
I have another classic from 1966 in view and a red TME in my garage hence the sale of the White... But I can appreciate my own car and won t let her go cheaply... I would be equally happy to keep her for the winter... She is now off the road...
I want to find a genuine buyer for her...

Cheers
Fred

Lovely car, the service history is very patchy is this genuine ? They should have services every 4500 or 6 months, maybe why it's not sold

I'm not knocking the car Gog, and yeah perhaps it's not a worry in the condition it's in just curious

Mileage is so low between services I wouldn't mind. Mine is done yearly now as I do way under 1k per year.

Between 2009 and 2011 the car as covered 6000 miles... Is it a crime to go over by 1500 miles?
The car was stored between 2011 and 2015... In 2015, belt was done and all fluids done.
The car needs to be seen to be appreciated, Ben, the chap who I bought it from had the car from 2005 til jan 2016...
That car is genuine and clean, will make someone very happy.
Underneath has been done properly not tart up!
Very happy to have her next to the red one until such time...
