@Evomentalist and RallyDay the leather/alcantara seats are gorgeous. I didn't know about them when I bought my LR.
I had a few repilies from various ecutek dealers with typical dyno graphs etc, none confirmed it was undetectable by a dealer for servicing or warranty, what would happen if there was a mitubishi update for the ecu ? wouldnt that overwrite the remap ?
I have the upgraded leather rallliart seats in mine, very nice

if you were remapped, why would you need an update? If you're bothered about warranty maybe you should just keep it as is, modded, especially by way of remap always carries the risk of the warranty claim being thrown out.
I have a ten and could give a flying **** about warranty

I still think the brakes are poor, so I'm reluctant to do any power upgrades til the brakes are better.

On a side note, what do people think to this with the blacked-out ring and the red Mitsi emblem? (And why does the owner still have orange front indicators? )

I keep wondering about the chrome trim. On the dark colours it looks OK but I do wonder if black would look better on a white Sportback. I read some where that it takes six screws to remove the front panel but a further 54 screws to get the grill off. If that is right, I might just invest in some matt black vinyl to cover the chrome. At least then if I change my mind or the next owner wants chrome it is easy to ge back to the original state. As for the red badge, that smacks a bit of Honda Type R!
I wonder if they coloured the badging at the rear of the car?

Yep the back is done too, apparently on eBay you can buy the coloured diamond stickers - might only be in the US though.

BTW there is a free ROM available, which gives you a slight power gain, you just need a laptop and a tactrix cable.

Looks very tasty.

I like the black bonnet as well, shows off the contours. Are you tempted to have the roof done?

I'm thinking of doing the chrome ring and Mitsi logo black. Might try it out with some electrical tape first, to see what it looks like

Had the 11k service done the other week. They updated the software on the ECU, it might be my imagination but the car feels better and is getting better mpg!

This article is a good reflection of the RA vs. EVO and lists many of the differences.
