Unhappy Definitely NO Evo XI...

Just read an article on Autoblog. North American Mitsubishi Executive Vice President Don Swearingen confirms that the Lancer will cease production in August 2017. So there is not going to be an Evo XI rising from the ashes.

Even IF there was another Evo, it would be based on a crossover type platform with hybrid set-up, not a 4 door saloon car.
The Evo as we know it, will never be again.
Look after what you have, no matter what Evo it is.

I agree though.....there will likely never be another Evo at all.
Apart from the Outlander, the Mitsubishi range now is absolutely boring and lifeless.

Mitsubishi is now shoite!

As you say they are looking to the crossover market for the future. Though I cannot see how they can expect to transfer the Evo tag and get the same kind of following.

They really don't understand what they are throwing away.

I don't mind the Shogun? It looks quite aggressive! I test drove one and it was a really smooth/responsive ride!

Haha, instigating the arguments here I see! I agree with you though, originally I did not care for them (I still test drove 2 to see if I liked the drive) but looks wise it has grown on me big style in the last year!
