The car did not have an MOT, as it run out on 16th November.

The Fuel Rail, Injectors and Battery were missing, along with the Spark Plug Cover and Cam Cover. 2 of the the spark plug cover bolts have been sheared off

The fuel tank drain bolt is leaking

The engine did come with the new exedy clutch, however, 3 of the clutch to flywheel fixing bolts were missing, along with 1 of the spark plugs

Quote "The engine had just came back from being built and will come with the car with all receipts and warrenty" - as previously stated, the engine did not come with the car as it wasn't built at the time the for sale thread was started

The centre bore of the wheels are missing the spigot rings, and have been fitted back on with the original chrome wheel nuts (too big). This has left the wheel bolt holes badly scratched

The clutch slave cylinder was leaking and has been replaced

The front suspension lower arm gators are split and leaking grease

The rear suspension lower arm gators are perished

The wiring to both front marker lights has been cut, and will need rewiring

Spoke to the engine builder Phil, and he confirms it is forged, and is an Evo 5 or later engine.

Who is this Phil? Phil off here doesn't really offer a lot of confidence in truth.

After agreeing a deal on the car and paying 50% upfront (cash on delivery), along with the cost for the delivery on Christmas Day, it became clear that the engine was not with the car, and hadn't been built at the time the car was advertised for sale.

So the important thing was to get something for the money that I had already paid. The car was delivered on 12/01/2017, and the engine 3 days later direct from the engine builder.

After a lot of hard work by the mechanic, the car finally passed its MOT today.

Hope to be on the road to run it in sometime next week.

Thanks

The work to start replacing some of the broken, damaged or tired looking parts (to get the car to the pristine condition that it deserves) now starts.
