Believe me, I'm sorry it's come to this, still a great driving car, I'm getting the blame for being honest on the ad saying it needs tlc/paint etc, can't win here

Can't bloody win mate. Selling cars on here unless they are mint is a nightmare. People forget these cars are 18 years old!!

Wish I was in the market for one. Looks a bargain, and it's definitely the right thing to do putting the bad points in the advert.

From what I've gathered over the years, now is not a good time to sell (when the weather gets better in a few months is the time) and the MLR isn't actually the best platform to sell an evo quickly, unless it's mint.

I'm gobsmacked.... thought these were heading north and your price was amazingly realistic already...!

Gutted I bought mine when I did, so many opportunities since and I desperately wanted a 5 in silver, not a 6 which is what i ended up with...

Condition etc more important than colour i find , maybe some cant handle the fastness

It would be a real shame to see this car broken, possibly never to return.
It has a real heritage here in Northern Ireland, the legendary AF1, it would be bad enough to see it leave our small Isle.
Someone buy it and paint it if needs be, it would still be a cheap straight Evo V!!

Congrats, at least on saving the car from being broken rather than necessarily the price by the sounds of things...

Did you manage to sell on the knee pads or not now the car is being sold?

Sorry bud, sold complete, definitely more money breaking it but the time and hassle involved meant it was just better to let it go
