* * * MLR Silverstone trackday - Bank Hol Monday 27th August * * *

For the first time in the MLR's history, we are holding a trackday at the home of the British Grand Prix: Silverstone on 27th August - that's Bank Holiday Monday. We've invited the GTROC and SIDC to join in the fun too and the day is already half full!

The circuit we'll be using is the 2mile Southern Circuit, and as usual the trackday will have our usual features;
* open pit lane
* free professional ARDS instruction
* 105dbA noise limit
* tyre services from Protyre
* trackside photography from Xtreme Sports Photography
* all bookings will receive a driver's information pack

Members price is £149, and non-members £169, while Members new to trackdays can book at the special novice rate of £99 if it's your first trackday - all online via the MLR Shop until the day is full. Alternatively call the MLR direct on 0845 12 LANCER (526237). Additional drivers and passengers can all be booked on the day for £35 and £10ea respectively. Helmets can also be hired from the MLR on the day for £5 (and refundable £50 deposit).

Please be aware of the MLR cancellation policy before you book, but if you have any questions just contact me or Mechell on the number above or PM one of us.

Hi Darin, or anyone!

I've booked up, and it will be my first trackday, My car has a TSL firestorm exhaust on it, and has a touch of anti-lag should this get through the sound test, is it static or fly-by or both?? Are there any other things to know before going??

It says there are tyre services there, so I assume we can just buy tyres on the day?? And the same for fuel??

Sorry for all the questions!!

Hi Wayne,

Where have you been?!?! Full circuit? If we had £28k to burn I might (but only "might") consider hiring the GP circuit!!!

I know it's been a while but I can't just put your name down these days - please can you reserve a place via the Shop and we'll contact you for the balance in early August. Alternatively just book it!

Hi Deeno,

Protyre will be there on the day and can supply tyres for you anf fit them on the day, but they can't carry everything so you should call them to order what you want. SPeak to Shaun or Jason on 10782 411001.

You'll have to go offsite for fuel - nearest SUL is the BP station on the A43.

I'll check with the circuit about the noise test to be sure.

It's not far just before the M1 but you have to go back down the other side of the road so is about 5 mins out the way.

There's one not to far away, I managed to get there when the petrol light came on half way through my last session during the JTS Show. I can't remember exactly where it is but its in my Sat Nav.

I haven't booked up yet, but will be so I'll take you there during the lunch break.
