Car: Evo 6 RSX in white recent engine rebuild UK car supplied by Xtreme
Posts: 48
One off Evo VI RSX

Reluctantly decided to sell my car, just don’t use it often enough to justify keeping it. The car is well known on the register and has always been owned by MLR enthusiasts.

Evo 6 RSX based on RS2 so no AYC or ABS, RS close ratio gearbox quicker rack, additional spot welds to body shell and strengthened etc.

Titanium bearing turbo as per TME so spools up quicker. Recaro SR seats, Interior trimmed in black leather and red alcantara including door cards. This was specified by the first owner when the car was supplied by Xtreme from new, so this car is unique not another one like it. The RSX is a limited edition with only 30 ever built so very rare.

The official figures were 20 in white and 10 in silver, but having spoken to the MD at Xtreme I understand there was less than this actually produced? The car was refurbished by a previous owner about 4yrs ago including the underneath. Meticulous detail was taken when the work was carried out, even the nuts and bolts were replaced using genuine Mitsubishi parts from main dealer. The Engine was rebuilt using forged parts and has only done about 2000 miles since rebuild, the car was mapped to not exceed 4000rpm for the first 1600 miles.

The cars spec is as follows
Evo 8 Crank, Ridgeway beam conrods,Wiseco forged Pistons, acl Main Bearings, ACL big end bearings, acl thrust washers, new water pump and oil pump, Cosworth 1.1mm head gasket, OEM crank seals, Cosworth cambelt kit and balancer belt, exhaust manifold to head studs, and nuts, evo 8 actuator, OEM gasket kit, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, Stainless turbo elbow, OEM core plugs, Aux belt tensioner, Evo 7 organic clutch and flywheel, Injector bottom o rings, Ralliart thermostat, PCV valves x 2, Mocal oil cooler.

Super pro bushes ( Front lower front and rear and ARB) EBC yellow stuff pads, new down pipe, new alternator, fuel rail adapter, idle control valve.
The engine was stripped full balance crank rods and pistons, P&P angle valve seats, and gas flowed, bored and honed block. I have receipts for circa £10k for the engine build.

Autronics ECU switchable with anti lag, Autronics air temp sensor, Custom intake pipe, full 3” blue flame exhaust, Hybrid uprated inter-cooler, uprated inter-cooler pipes, K&N filter, Sard fuel pressure regulator, Uprated lash adjusters, APS blow off valve, Greddy profec spec 2 boost controller, Battery relocation kit, Samco hoses, uprated oil cooler kit, Ally hard pipe kit, Polished slam panel.

Tein control master coil overs tein top mounts, Cusco front suspension underbrace 5 point, Cusco front suspension underbrace 2 point, Cusco 3 point strut brace, Cusco rear strut brace and Cusco lower brace.

18” Speedline Turini wheels, with as new Yoko S306 all round.
Powder coated white. Grooved and drilled two piece Godspeed front, and rear, Red stuff pads on the rear. SS Goodrich braided brake hoses, uprated fluid. Carbon fibre spoiler blade.

The car has now done circa 66k miles with full service history, stamped book, all original hand books, and huge folder of receipts and documents, all MOT certificates. Car is fitted with tracker and comes with all hand books for this etc. I will put 12 months MOT on the car prior to sale.

The number plate comes with the car at full asking price P58 EVO. The car would benefit from a re map as this has not been done since the engine was rebuilt. I am 59yrs old so was happy with the performance but once mapped car is capable of a lot more power! The car looks handles and sounds brilliant.

I have won the odd car show with this car, and even when parked next to some pretty exotic stuff still attracts more people than a lot of other stuff at the shows! I am looking for £15000 and will not entertain any offers. This is an opportunity to buy a very rare Evo 6 that is likely to climb in value year on year, I was told to ask £20k but I am looking for a quick sale and want it to go to someone on the register if at all possible. Please no dreamers or time wasters, apologies if I have missed anything, and will update as required, happy to answer any questions if I can?

I am located just outside Worcester - My number is 07712 536 480

To answer questions raised, engine was built by SW-T but I understand the block and head was sent to a specialist in London. Sorry I don't have the details but someone on hear will know possibly. SW-T now build competition cars out of a site in Herwaun South Wales.
The interior was replaced by Xtreme at the request of the first owner from new, so this is the original interior and makes the car unique. The turbo is original as far as I know, and has been rebuilt. Same as fitted to the TME models. I am happy to answer any sensible questions if I can? Please note, although I have owned 3 Evo's I am not an Anorak so my knowledge on these cars is limited. As Odd Ball once said in Kelly's Heroes "I only drive them, I don't know how to fix em!" Many Thanks and appreciate the interest. Kevin

Lee Parker's old car, aka Pockets, I remember this, Lee had the Autronic fitted and yes, the interior was from Xtreme.
