Buying my first X

Looking at buying my first X in the next couple of weeks and would like to get it serviced immediately for piece of mind. Im after after recommendations around the Lincolnshire area but am willing to travel a couple of hours, and what kind of service would i ask for?

You could much much worse than to take the car to Mitsubishi Lincoln, but you'd need to ensure that a young fella called Nick did or closely supervised the work. As you may or may not know, Nick used to run his own business call NR Autosport in the Lincoln area

Depends which X you have, but with MUT III tool is always a good choice.

The attached pdf checklist may or maynot be still used, but all the points there are relevant.

In addition
Check the fuel relays are the newer types
The MUT III scan tool 'Timing Chain Learned Value' should indicate how much stretch is present.
Your choice on SST oil/filter change - it's not part of the normal service, but certainly more frequent than the indicated 70k.
