- ROCKINGHAM £125
- TEESSIDE AUTODROME £ 99
- ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOWGROUND, EDINBURGH £ 75
- CASTLE COMBE £125
- SILVERSTONE (clockwise) £125

EVENT PROGRAMME :
The programme of each MLRSS event will follow the basic format and timings as shown below. Any changes to these for individual events will be made public beforehand via the MLR website

- 8:00 Registration starts. Any competitor not signed on by 9.00 am may be excluded
- 8:45 Briefing will take place for all drivers
- 9:00 Sighting laps – compulsory for all drivers
- 9:30 Practice runs start
- 13:00 Lunch
- 13:30 First Timed Runs start
- 17:00 Event closes and trophies awarded

TIMED RUNS :
At all MLRSS events we aim to offer competitors eight runs; four timed practice runs in the morning and four timed official runs in the afternoon However, if time doesn’t allow this the number of practice runs will be reduced before the official runs. The minimum number of runs will be six (three practice and three timed) assuming no problems occur during the day

RUNNING ORDER :
Each event will run in strict car number order, with Class 5 starting the field. It will be each driver’s responsibility to ensure they are in the correct place in the running order. If you are not in the correct place that run will be forfeited

GOAL TIMES :
To ensure a level playing field and enable a driver from any class to win the MLR Sprint Series title, each driver will have a “Goal Time” for their class which will be set after the morning Practice Runs. All drivers will receive points relative to their finishing position, but if any driver beats their Goal Time they will be awarded additional bonus points, effectively rewarding driver skill and effort

INCOMPLETE ROUND :
If a round of competitive runs is not completed by the entire field (due to accident, weather, etc), all times recorded from that round will be excluded from the results

POINTS :
Every car taking part will score points which will be recorded on the Leaderboard held on the MLR website. These will be calculated by a percentage system based on each event FTD (Fastest Time of the Day). The best five results from each competitor will count towards their overall final points total

TROPHIES :
Individual event trophies will be awarded to the winner of each class on the day. MLR Sprint Series trophies will be awarded to the overall top three competitors after the final round at Silverstone

MLR SPRINT SERIES LEADERBOARD :
The leaderboard will cumulatively add all competitors’ points from each round throughout the year, with the best five scores for each driver being included towards the final points total. This will allow drivers to miss two rounds or discount their worst results

COMPULSORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT :
It is compulsory for all occupants to wear a crash helmet which is properly fastened and have arms and legs covered – preferably by natural fibre clothing at each event. Helmets must conform to British Standards and should fit properly. Seat belts or safety harnesses must be worn at all times when on the circuit

ADVISORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT :
We strongly advise the wearing of a 2 layer Proban or Nomex race suit

PASSENGERS :
Passengers are allowed in the front seat of the car only and must comply with the compulsory safety equipment regulations as shown above. There is no charge for passengers

CAR INSURANCE :
Insurance is not compulsory, but unless you have taken steps to insure your Evo for the MLR Sprints Series it’s unlikely it will be insured, so please check your policy to see if cover extends to this sort of event. All new policies taken out with the MLR insurance broker Pace Ward can include cover for all MLR Sprints

VIDEO CAMERAS :
Video or bullet cameras are allowed but must be securely mounted to the car using the proper mounts

WARNING :
Motorsport is dangerous. Your Evo is understandably precious and we want you to enjoy the day and take your car home without any damage. Please approach each event sensibly and professionally

Please see here for cancellation policy. If deposit is paid it is non-refundable.

Good to see things are remaining mostly the same as last year.

Class 2 is going to be packed!

On a side note: Are we able to reserve places again like last year or is it pay up front in full?

Reserve Places

Bottom of the shop under sprints is the reserve option.

Just select the sprint you want to reserve

Does the above statement mean that an FP Green turbo is class 2, as it's not a standard Evo turbo (The casing may be - but the compressor wheel and turbine wheels definately isn't)

Reason I ask is that I may go "Green" some time in the near future ...

I don't think evo green turbos should be in class 2, mainly cos I don't have one.

But they are standard frame evo 9 turbos.

What about forged engines? They can run more boost/revs. Surely they should be in class three with standard engines in class 1 and 2.

You could have a forged green build running impressive power in class 2 along with standard engine standard turbo cars in class 2 purely because of a remap.
