Evo 4 Fuel Feed wire Colour O/S/R Footwell

Looking to fit hardwire kit today on the evo 4,i believe im looking for a thick black/blue wire, looking at the wires under the carpet at O/S/R on the multi-plug connections, 1 white single plug/loom has a whie/black stripe wire, main loom im looking for a thickish wire, there are 2 there, 1 black and 1 black/red stripe, anyone confirm which the feed would be ?

If in dout use a muti meter. One should be an earth. So power supply should be the other.

about 18 wires in there so shouldn be too difficult lol

Right.......
Your looking at the wrong plug.

If you lift the carpet in the footwell behind the drivers seat you will find another plug.
Your looking for a thick Black/orange wire (it changes to Black/blue on the other end of the plug.) Use the black/orange one as then if you ever need to pull the wiring harness out for the fuel tank you dont have to cut your connection

Theres a slighly thinner black wire in that plug as well, thats your earth wire. (All earth wires are plain black)

Thats a shame, cos if its not received withing 1 week it gets sent back lol, used to work offshore myself, worked for Deutag Drilling on Brent Bravo
