Supercar trackdays

Anyone know of any good companies that do supercar trackdays and which is the best track to do them on. Looking as a birthday present for my brother and looking to spend around 200-250. All the ones I've seen comprise around 4 to 5 laps in anything from 1 to 4cars. Any info on anything offering more laps or better value would be what I'm asking for really, or something a bit different, i.e. Cars wise Got to be supercar driving though not tanks or rallying etc. He is based around Kent.

you've summed it up 4-5 laps At under 4500RPM = boring

F*** me that was fast. So nothing more than that then. He's not a petrol head so the experience its what its about at the end of the day but would be nice if I could get a bit more time on track for him our something a bit more exotic.

Id get him a rally day. Loads more fun

I did one when I was 18 in mk 2 escorts at silverstone. You get a load more seat time (especially on the full day one as most people only book a half day) compared with supercar days and you get to do lots of skids

I did a day at Thruxton a few years ago. Boxster, Ferrari & formula Renault. No rev limits other than just in front of pits. Revved ferrari to 8,200 rpm

Not cheap, though...

I did a 2hr event at silverstone in an f355, interior was held together with tape, engine sounded like death and im sure the instructer was drunk, in glad it was free because i drove faster in the minibus on the way home!

As K has indicated I am an ARDS instructor and work for The Racing School which operates at several UK circuits, we currently use Rockingham, Donington, Mallory and Three Sisters. Personally I would recommend Donington as the best circuit to drive at followed by Rockingham. The cars available for the Experience days are Audi R8, Lambo Gallardo,Aston Vantage, Porsche 996 Turbo, Ferrari 360. The cars are not limited to a set rev range, it is left up to the discretion of the instructor as to the customers driving ability and safety as to how quick you are allowed to go, all of the Supercar instructors are very experienced ex race drivers and are the most experienced instructors on the team due to the value and potential speed of the cars. There are often cheap last minute availability deals on the website and I can highly recommend the V8 Touring car experience,these are proper ex racing
cars.If you are interested in just the Supercars the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini are a good package to try.
