Workshop manuals iPhone.
Is there any way of opening the technical manuals on an iPhone?, it just says 'safari cannot download this file'. It's a PDF file so anyone any ideas?.

Just download the e-book app, the one made by apple. You will be prompted to download it if you dont have it already when you put the PDF in to iTunes.
Drag the PDF into the top left corner of iTunes, where the music/video is - you will automatically get a new category called "Books". Then you should be prompted to download the e-book reader. |

I presume you have not saved the file to your PC. Try right click on the link, "save file as' option.
Then drag the saved file as described above. Presume you are on Windows. |

Or, are you trying to save it directly from your iPhone? If so I have no idea!

Don't know if this is of any use at all, but I have many PDF's on my iphone/pad... I tend to read a great deal of Law and often travel with Road Traffic ACT 1988, Police and Criminal Evidence ACT 1984, Police Reform ACT 2002 etc... and I open these from their location and save them as a PDF file type naming them what I want them to be viewed as and shift them to my desktop on my laptop. This then I email to myself and receive on my own email on my iphone/pad and open the attachment in ibooks and from there is stays there quite happily.
If you have a workshop manual then why not do the same as I have done above and hopefully this should work for yourself also!  Regards Mark.

I just Downloaded them then drag and dropped into iTunes
Then Sync iPhone Make Sure it is a pfd Its good
