ECU Advice - TME / Evo VI GSR
Hi,
Would an unmapped / standard Evo VI GSR ECU plug straight into an Evo VI TME and run at standard parameters or would I have to look at sourcing an unmapped TME ECU? Thanks. |

Yes you can use a GSR ecu they are the same but sometime have different chips inside , but they work exactly the same , the car wont see the difference

Cheers, I was thinking the Evo VI GSR and Evo VI TME are pretty much identical engine-wise although the turbo is slightly different. So guessing all electrics will function as they should?

yes there is no such thing as a TME ecu the type commonly fitted to the TME is also often found in the 6 GSR and the 5
