TRL D forged my X and gave it a new tubby
Big thanks to Matt and the lads at TRL D. I have just had a PM from Matt to let me know that the X is just about ready for collection.
I didn't go for the big numbers, preferring a fast scrolling HKS GT11 for track day work, but I had to keep the ££ numbers in check as well. Well chuffed with the results though, it's now running 470/460. I will get the full spec from Matt and post it later. Thanks to TRL who have been so helpful and supportive. Great work. So now it's stripped out, lighter and more power. Can wait to try it.... ![]() Rob

Thanks guys, I will get the graphs later, all I have is just two numbers at the moment. I can't wait to see the graphs myself.
Yes Gum, looking forward to Combe as it's my base mark to see how much better it is. I hope to do more tracks across the UK this year after that. Cally, didn't weigh all the parts, but I stripped it in two goes over 2 years. I know I lost at least 100kg over the winter, probably the same amount on the one before. I will stick it on a weighbridge soon and find out exactly what it weighs now. I am only guessing, but possibly somewhere inder 1400kg is realistic. Rob

Yes he did. But mine still has the aircon pump on, the central locking/alarm etc. I think high 1300's would be good. Possibly 1400kg. I will find out soon, I will get it weighed.
