Mitsubishi Pajero?

I'm looking at buying a Mitsi Pajero 2.5tdi for an off roader. Are they reliable and does anyone know if they like the water when fitted with a snorkel?

2.5's are gutless! Get a 2.8
If your fitting a snorkel make sure you seal the airbox properly. Good relaible jeeps if looked after right.

i find that with all the jeeps out there, i've had landcruisers pajeros safari's ect all were terrible on fuel, I have aso heard the 2.8 is a better engine, but you tend to see mostly 2.5s for sale

The newer 3.2did is much better on fuel (easily get 26mpg) than the old 2.8 (22mpg at a push)
The old engine is a lot quieter though..

Looks nice that but would be useless off road for me. I like to be waist deep in mud and those sides would be wripped off on the 1st outing.

Laguna for the kids.
Evo for the speed.
Landy or proper Pajero for the mud.
R6 for the bike.
