Hi guys, can i have a little bit of advice please
I've just bought a turbo TD05HRA 16G6 10.5T second hand but guy says its been reconditioned. Ive just recieved the turbo, all looks good no shaft play etc but when i look at the (exhaust turbine wheel) i think thats what its called lol it looks as tho there is a bit of a fin missing and also a bit of the centre nut missing also....i am attaching a picture ![]() My question is, A) Can i run it like that? or B) can anyone give me a price as to replacing the wheel etc? Kind Regards Jamie |

The nut in the centre, is it supposed to be shaped like that as ive just seen pics of a few turbos and the nuts all seem to have a side like that on them

One blade is damaged so would not run long and maybe is not balanced, the nut is machined to balance the wheel /assy.
